    1. [INKOSCIU] Wilkinson family Warsaw
    2. I am seeking as much information as I can get on the family of William and Jane Stanage Wilkinson. William Wilkinson bFeb 28,1795 Harrison Co.,VA parents Asahel Wilkinson and Charity Ragan Jane Stanage b 1801 I believe, Rockport,VA(now West Virginia) William and Jane married March 27,1821 in Logan Co.,OH. Jane's parents were Thomas and Sarah McManamy Stanage. Thomas was a veteran of the Revolutionary War, where he spent time in a British prison. In 1832, William and Jane Stanage Wilkinson traveled from Logan Co.,OH, with Jane's sister, Mary Stanage Wilson (m James Louis Wilson), and brother Thomas Jefferson Stanage to Elkhart,IN. James and Mary Stanage Wilson remained in Elkhart, until James died in 1866. Thomas Jefferson Stanage married Catherine Wolf, daughter of George and Hannnah Wolf in Elkhart, later they removed to Three Oaks, Berrien Co.,MI. Until a recent trip to the National Archives, where I looked up the Civil War pension record of Henry B. Wilkinson, we had lost track of William and Jane Stanage Wilkinson. Henry B. Wilkinson's father was William Wilkinson. He married Eliza Jane Locke. Through the pension record I discovered that the family had removed to the Warsaw area of Kosciusko Co.,IN. Henry B. Wilkinson died, June 28,1904, he was born, July 25, 1838, in Indiana. This would have been Elkhart, before the move to Kosciusko. The informant for his death certificate was Linville Wilkinson. Other Wilkinsons mentioned, Henry's father, William Wilkinson provided an affidavit on February 27, 1884. Others mentioned Benjamin Wilkinson, Charles Wilkinson, and Wilber Wilkinson. If someone could help me with further information on this family, I would really appreciate it. Does anyone know where and when Jane died, where and when William died, any Will, Probate or obituaries? Please help, Mary Wilson
