I would like to send my condolences to the family and friends of Iva Nelson and apologize that these wishes are being sent so late! With the rush of the holidays, I hadn't checked my email in about a month. As I was sorting through all of it I found the message about Iva's passing. I never got the chance to meet Iva in person but we corresponded occasionally and sent emails back and forth. She and I are related, distantly on several lines, as most of us who have ties to Kosciusko Co. are, and 4 years or so ago I was just beginning to search for those connections and ran across Iva. She had been at this game for several years and was very helpful in answering my questions, teaching me the ropes, and being just a VERY nice person! I am ashamed to say that I got busy with my life; husband retiring from the Army, moving, kids, ... and didn't keep up with her in the last couple of years. I thought I'd get caught up around here and have more time... Kathy Gavin
