What I don't know for fact is whether Elizabeth and Minerva were sisters, step-sisters or maybe even not related. I do not know any date details on Elizabeth (like when she was born, died etc.) or if she was in the same household or maybe was a former love of Hezekiah's or what, but apparently the romance was lingering several years later. I know that Archibald Kirkendall and his first wife Ellen MUIR had a daughter named Elizabeth, but I don't know if she was the one who birthed two daughters with Hezekiah. Ummm - maybe somebody knows that answer. My notes show: Hezekiah married Minerva Kirkendall on 7 May 1868 Together thhey had these children: Ida May Bushong b.1869 Charles E. Bushong b.15 Oct 1871 Elnora "Nora" Bushong b.1872 Sara Etta Bushong b.1874 Wilmeina "Melinda" Bushong b.1877 William Bushong b.1878 John H. Bushong b.abt 1880 Alice M. Bushong b.1882 My notes also show: Elizabeth Kirkendall had two children with Hezekia. Sarah was born 1861 (Sarah later married Ben Yarian on 20 Nov 1881, Kosciusko, IN) Mary was born 1873 (Mary later married William Lingofelter, in 1892) If you know any more about this situation that happended with Hezekiah Bushong, Elizabeth Kirkendall and Minerva Kirkendall, please let me know. I continue to search for as much correct information as possible, and I know there is always an interesting story from our ancestors.
