Heighway and Sarah W. Antrim John D. Heighway, b. 16 December 1811 at Ohio, d. 6 March 1889 Spouse: Sarah W. Antrim, b. ca. 1816 at Ohio Married 8 May 1834 at Warren Co., Ohio. I have corresponded with Heighways elsewhere in Indiana, but am curious as to whether my line has any living members bearing the Heighway name. I believe they would be descendants of Benjamin Franklin Heighway's son Lester, born Feb. 8, 1889, who married Margaret Landis, 25 October 1915 at Miami Co., IN. BAKER--descendants of Emeline Heighway & William T. Baker Emeline E. Heighway, b. 10 July 1838 at Warren Co., Ohio, m. William T. Baker, 27 January 1864, d. 18 May 1918 at Lafayette, Indiana. Their daughter, Rose, was my grandmother. Rose Sarah Temperance Baker, b. 2 November 1876 at Mentone, Indiana, m. Elmore Cephas Baker, 27 November 1897 at Kosciusko Co., Indiana, d. 4 April 1956 at Whittier, California; 10 grandchildren Elmore Cephas Baker, b. 2 December 1864 at West Virginia, d. 3 April 1940 at Indiana. This is a different Baker family with West Virginia and earlier New England roots. WALKER-- Charles W. Walker, born 17 December 1917 in Wabash Co., IL. His mother, Beulah Potts, married Elmer Lowman of Claypool, IN after his father's death. Charles' father, Shelby, was a railroad worker and the family moved between homes in IL, in addition to French Lick & Claypool. Some relatives of Charles still live in Kosciusko Co.
