Surnames: MYERS, MYRES,MEIERS, LEFFLER, LEFLER, Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/mh.2ADI/476 Message Board Post: My husband's grt. grandfather Jacob Myers is believed to have owned a piece of land in Kosciusko county(maybe in Warsaw) at the time of one of his daughter's birth (Barbra Ann- 1844) Is there any way to verify this ? He was married in Grant County (believed to be near the township of Mississineaw) in 1840 to Hannah Lefler ( a year later, his first daughter was born in Mississineaw in 1841) and would have probably been in the U.S. Census Records of 1850 in Vigo County where a son(William H. ) was born in 1849 in Terra Haute.
