We have had serious sickness in family since Nov. so I don't have opportunity to check boards too often. I have no other info on this James Bybee than what I posted earlier. However, the James Bybee I have seems to be same one you wrote about. But my info shows James Bybee, born 1815, first married Mary Cook on June 19, 1838 in White Co ARK. Mary Cook was born 1822 in Montgomer Co ARK; dau of John Cook, b. 1791 Franklin Co VA, d. May 28, 1858. James Bybee and Mary Cook had four children - Mary Elizabeth Jane b. 1839; Joseph Marion, b. 1849; Nancy Safronia Angeline b. 2-09-1850; and Martha Bybee, b. 1855. Nancy Safronia Angeline m. Wm. Jackson Baker in 1865; they were my grandparents on Baker side. After Mary Cook Bybee death, I show that James Bybee married Elizabeth Post, b. 1832 in Georgia. I have just one son, James Bybee b. 1858. There were obviously more (such as those you have listed). Thanks! so much for your info. Perhaps I can glean something from these names.
