While everyone is throwing out surnames of families that came through Ohio to Indiana or visa-versa, how 'bout some recommendations regarding websites or actual research centers IN OHIO that come "highly recommended". Where is the best place to look for material on the mentioned counties - Preble, Wayne, Auglaize, Stark, Warren etc etc? I would be particularly interested in birth, marriage, death, and burial information. I ask, because I haven't found any really good places on the web to look for much needed Ohio materials. What am I overlooking?? I'm looking for any information on the following people: Paul Dickerson - my great uncle, who was a concert pianist. He played around the lakes area and was quite well known in probably the 30's and maybe 40's. He was also known to play in the big name places in NY city and lived there for awhile. Ross Franklin - close friend to my Paul Dickerson. I have no knowledge of his work or family connections. He and Paul were companions for a number of years. Carrie Dickerson - mother to Paul, who I believe lived with and kept house for Ross and Paul. I believe she also kept house or cooked for someplace in the resort areas. AND I believe she continued to stay with Ross while Uncle Paul was away in NYC and died at Ross's home. They may have resided in Warsaw or in Syracuse. Carrie is buried in Syracuse and Ross Franklin may be also. Paul is not. If anyone has any information at all on any of these people, I would be deeply indebted. Shirley Muncie
