    1. [INKOSCIU] Two new databases on-line!
    2. Gene Andert
    3. WOW! We have two new, valuable databases that have just been posted on-line at the Kosciusko County USGenWeb site. The WPA Birth Records - 1882-1920 - 17,897 births were indexed during the WPA Project in 1938 from the Kosciusko County, IN Health Department records. Many thanks go to Marge Priser, Beth Miner and Tina Buchman who undertook this massive transcription project. Additionally, special thanks goes to Deb Johnson, from the Kosciusko County Health Department, who helped proofread this transcription. Kosciusko County Naturalization Records Index - 1835-1923. Marge Priser provides this index compiled from three different sources: 1. Order book of Naturalization Applications 1835-1904. On microfilm 2. Petitions of Naturalizations 1905-1923. On microfilm 3. Loose papers related to naturalizations. Various early dates. Documents in files. Contact information is provided on how to obtain copies of these records. Enjoy! 1. [INKOSCIU] Teeple, Scoles, Estep, Hall, Summy
    2. Thanks to my dad's first cousin, Leonard Estep, many old photos have recently come into my possession, including my great grandmother's (Elizabeth Teeple Scoles) photo album. Unfortunately, virtually none of the photos are identified. I need help from any Teeple, Scoles or Hall cousins. I have a flatbed scanner, so I can scan these photos for anyone to look at who might think they could help. I have found photos of Elizabeth's siblings and aunts and uncles, so I think there are many Teeple photos. Also, could anyone tell me when the following Warsaw photographers were in business: Atherton, Frank A. Place, I. De Vos. Thanks. Jaira Scoles Hill Silverton, OR

Where is the best place to look for material on the mentioned counties - Preble, Wayne, Auglaize, Stark, Warren etc etc? I would be particularly interested in birth, marriage, death, and burial information. I ask, because I haven't found any really good places on the web to look for much needed Ohio materials. 3. I believe the address to subscribe for that one is PREBLE_CO_OH-L-request@rootsweb.com You can go to Rootsweb home page and find all available lists and the addresses. Every county has one, and there are thousands of surname lists as well. The Preble District Library at Eaton is a great source for that area, and surrounding counties. They have a link from the Preble site (all through USGenWeb). They do research at $10 per hour, pro-rated in 15 min. increments. Some of the Preble marriages are also online. 1808-1859 http://www.usigs.org/library/vitals/oh/preble/prebmarr.htm You can get some things from the Miami Valley Gene. Index. http://www.pcdl.lib.oh.us/miami/miami.htm This one has loads of links for various states. http://home.att.net/~wee-monster/deathrecords.html Karen -----Original Message----- From: Jemnjoan1@cs.com [mailto:Jemnjoan1@cs.com] Sent: Sunday, July 20, 2003 7:26 PM To: INKOSCIU-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [INKOSCIU] OH research Those interested in Wood Co., OH: <A HREF="http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohwccogs/">Wood County Chapter, Ohio Genealogical Society</A> wcogs@wcnet.org .
