My gr gr grandfather Thomas Fall came from Scotland to Jennings County, Indiana in the mid 1800's with a wife, Jane or Jean and two son's Henry and William. They had a son Alexander and a daughter Ruth born in North Vernon. The census records show several other Falls there at that time. S ince many of the emmigrants who came over did so with the help or at least encouragement of friends and family already here, I am wondering what connection they might have had to the Fall's already there.
