I tried to find what I could on Butlerville. It was established in 1840 and reads like it became a thriving community and possibly still is. There is a mention of an A.S. Conner that owned a general store. There appeared to be several stores and a couple of hotels. Also under Jennings County Churches and schools there is a write-up on Butlerville United Methodist Church. The orginal church was built in 1859. Among the pastors is a T. W. Conner. Could these be your relatives. Under the schools, there evidently was a high school until 1950 when it was consolidate with North Vernon High School. There is also a writeup on the Butlerville Masonic Lodge which was organized in 1856 and is still there. > > Hope this helps some.
