    1. [INJENNIN] families from KY to Jennings IN
    2. In looking at my husband's family that has traveled to Jennings from KY. I am at a dead end on where our Longs were originally from in KY. Other names in the family are McCammon, Spencer and Meek. I have noticed many families came from KY. Is there a pattern of immigration I am missing? Was there a certain time that many traveled to Jennings for land around 1840 or 1850? I understand that many families traveled together, and I'm curious if there is a certain area from KY that the families in Jennings traveled from or did they come from all over in KY. Thank you for any information. Sincerely, :-) Barbara Long <brlong54@aol.com>

    3. In my searching so far, I have found that they came from all over KY. Some came from the Northeast, down the Ohio and into Northern KY Area then on to Jennings, Ripley and Decatur counties. I have one family that came from Garrard county KY, After the Northwest Treaty was passed in 1781, people started really coming to Indiana and in early 1800's they started dividing into counties and into townships and selling tracts of land at very food prices.
