My great-grandfather, William Jefferson HARPER(m Emma Dean PEAK) owned a restaurant in North Vernon, according to the 1900 Jennings County Indiana census. I have a copy of a newspaper ad which indicates he also operated a dry goods store at "Iron Block, North Vernon." I would appreciate any information regarding these businesses. Bunny
