Wow, Terry, this is super. I found a direct hit I've been seeking for years. Now I know that the first wife of my great grandfather was Elizabeth Porter, age 11 at time of this census. She lived in Columbia Township in dwelling 560. Her father was apparently John R and her mother was Diodema. Both were born in Ohio. She apparently had several siblings John H (16), James F (13), Charles A and Mary M (8), Isaac (5) and Nancy A (1). (ages at time of census indicated in parenthesis). If there's any more information available about this family, I would be delighted to receive it.
