McClelland deceased Will book 4 page 9-11 Widow does not accept terms of the will page 36 22nd day of February 1886 Jennings County Courthouse This is a portion of the will: First I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Bell Shepherd, one dollar. Second I give and bequeath to my son William B. McClellan, one dollar. 3rd I give and bequeath to my son Morton McClellan, one dollar. 4th I also give and bequeath to each one of the heirs of my daughter Nancy Elizabeth Carson (deceased), the sum of one dollar each. towit: Clara Carson Lucy J Carson Charley McCrea Carson Henry J Carson Lewis H. Carson & Mary E. Carson. 5th I now give and bequeath to my beloved wife Lucy G. McClellan, the fee simple including all the remainder of my property after the payment of all my legal debts, to have and to hold during her natural life, and at her death it to be divided equally between my 'all' heirs.
