Does anyone have any information about a company L, 9th Regiment, Indiana Legion that enlisted men in Jennings co in Aug of 1862? John H Lett mustered into this company July 23 1862 and appears as a Private on a muster-out roll for the company dated Aug 26th 1862 that was signed by a Corpl Morton. The payroll cards make it look as though the whole company wa only organized for that one month period. Did they join another unit? Thanks, Sherri
