Veasey, died at her home in Jeffersonville on Sunday morning, November 21, 1886, of apoplexy, aged 67 years. The remains were brought here Tuesday morning and interred in the family lot in the city cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Veasey came to this county from Pittsburgh in the year 1855 and lived her continuously until 1875, when they removed with the family to Jeffersonville, leaving a host of friends in Jennings. Mr. Veasey died in Jeffersonville in 1880. North Vernon Plain Dealer 11/24/1886
