Davis. Rosie Jones, b. 1814 in Grayson Co., VA married William Davis on 14 July 1831 in Jennings Co., IN. The Davises and the Joneses lived next door to each other in Sand Creek Township. According to Judy Hopkins, who is also researching the family, Richard was b. 16 Dec 1809 in Monroe Co., W. VA. His parents were Jacob Davis and Eunice Dixon Davis. He m. Edna Catherine Thomas 7 April 1836 in Grant Co., IN. He d. 6 March 1894 in Clackmas Co., OR. I have the names of his 11 children and their birthdates. Please E-mail me directly..
