I am very interested in this gentleman. My great grandaunt Jane WAUGHTELL was married to an Enoch STARK in Washington County, Indiana in 1838 and I believe she had two children of this marriage ~ possibly a James and a Sophia. Curious if "Bude" ties in with Enoch in any way. Jane remarried in 1840 to a John SUMMA and until I found Sophia's marriage license in September while researching in Salt Lake City, all the census records showed James & Sophia under the SUMMA surname.
