I noticed this in the "100 years ago" column, and wondered if someone had access to the rest of the obituary (note that the column says "in part").... If I am not mistaken, this lady was a LETT before her marriage to Mr Ayers..... http://www.northvernon.com./ Obituary (in part): Harriet Ayers was born near Paris in Jefferson County Feb. 7, 1830. She departed life a firm believer in the immortality of the soul, Sept. 2, 1900 ... She and Joseph Ayers were married Dec. 2, 1851 .... By reason of this union six children were born, five of whom survive her. She became a member of the Baptist Church in the spring of 1854.
