Donna, Thomas Jones is buried in the Edwards Cemetery in Jennings County. The information on his monument is: Died Nov 29, 1853 Aged 54 yrs 6 mos 28 days This old cemetery is on property once owned by Elijah M. Edwards. Elijah and Hannah are both buried there, too, as is their daughter Pheraby, and her husband Allen Short. When I visited this cemetery and read the monuments, there were only eleven stones that could be read. Several other stones are buried, and between 20-30 graves are marked with field stones. It has been about 10 years since I've been there, so I'm not sure what the condition is now.
