She and Enoch had a daughter, Alice Diadema Morris. Enoch remarried in 1866, but I don't know what heppened to Elizabeth and I don't know who raised Alice. Elizabeth's father was probably John K, carpenter, b OH in about 1810. Mother probably Diodema, b OH about 1818. Siblings probably John H (16), James F (13), Mary M and Charles A (8), Isaac (5) and Nancy A (1) (ages at time of 1850 census) Resided in Columbia Township, Jennings County, Dwlling 445. 300 acres. 1870 Census of Jennings Co showed Deadamie (sic) 52, 329-88 and a John T, 16, 329-69. The 1860 Census of Decatur County indicated Dedimma (sp) was age 42, a farmer, with $1,500 in real property and $200 in personal property (p 0808, Line 13A)( Others living in that same area were Porter Francis Harvey Porter (age 2); John H., farmer (real property $1,500, personal property $200); Mary! M (age 18); Nancy A (age 11); and Provey L (age 6). Enoch and Elizabeth Porter Morris apparently lived next to the Porter farm. Any help would be welcome!
