Preston W Lett married Laura Belle Rousey 19 Jan 1873 in Jefferson co IN. She was a dau of Leonard Rousey, who later is found in Jennings county. According to Preston's obituary, his father-in-law was born in KY and fouhgt in the Civil War. The 1880 census has Leonard Rousey in Montgomery township Jennings county age 62 born Kentucky (had consumption) wife: Mary A Rousey 55 born KY dau ALice 20 born IN son Samuel J 15 b IN son Charles S 10 born IN next door is John Rousey 21 farmer born KY wife: Emma 23 born Ohio neighbors are the Jasper N Calicott family (parents of IN and OH) the Harrison Robbins family of IN with Matilda Robbin 74 b KY the Hannah J Armstrong family of IN the George Smith family of Ky and TN and IN Preston and Laura died in Jeffersonvillem Clark co, IN.
