    3. Does any organization in Jennings Co. publish a genealogy publication for the county, like a local genealogical society? If so, how could I reach them? Thanks

    3. I wanted to remind everyone to check the 100 Years Ago Today column. I've been lax about sending the reminders the past few weeks. BUT, my son's wedding is over and hopefully life will return to normal here now. Go to http://www.northvernon.com/ and click on Local News on the side menu. Then scroll down to the 100 Years Ago column. The one for this week and last week's is online. Happy Hunting, Terry

    3. Here is the answer that I got from Lori Ammerman, who is president of the Jennings county genealogy (and who is responsible for most of the records that we have online and in the library): >Sorry. At this point the Jennings County Genealogical Society is dying for lack of interest. I have been doing a once a year newsletter for the few who've managed to make connections. The Jennings County Historical Society will be creating a web page and maybe we can make a genealogical connection there. I've just gotten in the new computer, we will be establishing internet service hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I am attending a seminar on August 20th that I am hoping will help me with getting all this launched. Ronald Boyd wrote: > > Did no one have an answer to this?
