Cannot seem to find in censuses for period. Both J. Hudson and wife Anna are buried in Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon, along with my ggrandmother Louisa Burdg Conner, who lived with Anna when Louisa died. There were several Burdg families arriving in Jennings Co. about 1850 from Ohio. They may have been spelled Brudg in one or more censuses. J. Hudson served as Deputy Auditor for the County for a period right after the Civil War. Any help connecting him to a father's and family very much appreciated. Dick C. in Las Vegas
