Does anyone on this list research the McAbee surname or know of someone that does? In the Samuel Denny line that I work, Sidney Denney married Sam McAbee, probably around 1880. They had 6 to 9 children, unsure of exact number. Now, later in my research, there is a Rowena McAbee that marries a Loren Pfiefer and a Robin William McAbee that marries a Susan Millett. I am thinking these later McAbees tie into Sam and Sidney McAbee and would like to further expand that line. Below is all I have on Sam and Sidney Denney McAbee. Richard Denney Descendants of Sam McAbee Generation No. 1 1. SAM1 MCABEE was born Abt. 1862. He married SIDNEY DENNEY1, daughter of WILLIAM DENNEY and JULIA PAINTER. She was born 1864 in Mercer County,Ohio2, and died 1919 in Portland, IN2. I found Sidney's grave site in 1996 at Greenmound Cemetery, Fort Recovery, Ohio. There was no husband buried with her, the story above may account for that. They had a total of 9 children, no data on three of them. ADDITIONAL DATA ON CHILDREN Felt lived Portland, IN, name may have been Felton as others in the Denney lines were named. Waldo lived Portland, IN. John lived Portland, IN.
