Good Morning, My ggGrandparents were Alva(y) WOOD and Polly PRATT. Polly is believed to be the daughter of Gilbert PRATT, PA, OH, IN. Alva and Polly m. in Randolph County, but were counted in Jay Co. in the 1850 Census. They removed from there to Noble Co. during that same Census year and were counted again. I am seeking documentation of Polly's parentage and parents of Alva. There was an Alva and Aaron who arrived in Noble county in the 1830's and purchased land there. I believe one of those men could be the father of Alva from Jay Co. If anyone has connections or knowledge of either of these families, I would like to exchange info with you. Thank you, Cher
