Hello!! I am searching for a Hammond family that lived in Jay Co., in 1860. I located William D. and Mary Hammond in the Indiana 1860 Census of Jay County, Jefferson Township. He was listed as a farmer. I cannot find them anywhere in Indiana in 1850, although their 13 year old son, and 10 year old daughter were listed as born in Indiana. If anyone has information on this family, I would love to have it. Thanks, Tammy Pursley
