The following Obituary was found in Muncie, Deleware County, Indiana. Ethel Lyons once Owned Beauty Shop. Ethel (Boram) Lyons, 78, 225 N. Franklin St. died at Ball Hospital Wednesday afternoon following an extended illness. She was born in Blounsville and spent most of her life in Delaware County, She formerly owned Ethel's Beauty Shop in Oakville and Muncie. Mrs. Lyons was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, Methodist Women, Harrington Bible Class and Women of the Moose. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Armstrong, Muncie; three sisters, Mars. Mary Clark, Pennville, Mrs. Marie Snyder, El Cajon, California, Mrs. Florence Miller, Redkey, a brother , Thomas Arnett, California; two Grandsons, Vance and Dale Wasson, Terre Haute, Frederick Paul Wasson, Mechanicsville, MD, and seven great grandchildren. Services will be at the Meeks Mortuary at 10 a.m. Saturday with Dr. A. Hunter Colpitts, Pastor of High Street United Methodist Church, Officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Grove.
