I have a John Scott (b 28 Oct 1831) and a Mary Susannah White (b 23 Jan 1833) who married in Jackson Co 20 May 1853. Their children were: Daniel (b 23 May 1855) Jackson Co twins Janes & Sarah (b 25 Jan 1857) Freetown, Jackson Co Elizabeth (b 25 Oct 1859) David (b 18 Jun 1861) Jacob (b 23 Sept 1863) Malinda Catherine (b. 4 Nov 1865) Nancy Ann (b. 30 Sep 1867) Martha Jane (b 24 Mar 1869) Permelia Ellen (b 14 Nov 1870) John Jefferson (b 26 Jan 1873) Sanuel Isack(?) (b 28 Apr 1876) Sometime before 1873 they moved to Harlan Co, NE where Elizabeth and Permelia died. My question is: who were the parents (and siblings) of John Scott and Mary White? Since James and Sarah were born in Freetown, could the family resided there until they moved? Could John and Mary's parents been from there also? Any help would be appreciated. Janet
