    1. [INJACKSO-L] Abel and Brown notes
    2. Arlene Hill
    3. Sorry Art, I have not yet done research on the Abels as they are not in my direct line. I have been working extremely hard to get the Browns all in an acceptable order. When I get back to them and if I find any info on the Abels, I will surely let you know. Here are the notes that I have on Angeline Brown: !IDENTIFICATION: Listed in father's will. !BIRTH: Listed with brother Jacob in 1850 IN Jackson Co. Census as 14 yrs old. !MARRIAGE: Named in closing estate paper to sell off father's property and disperse the residual of his estate, with the last name of ABEL. This was 12 years after her father's death. John ABEL 8 Jun 1851 with consent of gdn. also REF: Jackson Co., In Marriages (1816-1920), Carolyn J. Stultz; p 60. SLC1/98. !MARRIAGE: Perhaps #2--William DOTY; ibid. !!BIRTH & CENSUS: 1850 IN, Hamilton Twp. p 99. All I have on John Abel is that he died 17 Apr 1860; and his parents were William Abel b 1808 in PA and his wife Catherine. So Sorry I do not have more, Arlene ---------- >From: [email protected] >To: [email protected] >Subject: INJACKSO-D Digest V99 #44 >Date: Tue, Apr 13, 1999, 3:18 AM > > X-Message: #1 > Date: Mon, 12 Apr 1999 17:23:01 -0400 > From: "Art Miller" <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [INJACKSO-L] Abels in Jackson Co. > MIME-Version: 1.0 > > Arlene, > Now, I need your help in sorting out these Abells.
