Hi, I am trying to sort out the connections of all of these families as they migrated from Hawkins County, TN to Jackson County, IN around 1819-1820. They spread to Monroe County, Brown County, Washington County, etc. My ancestor is William Curry born between 1780 & 1790 in North Carolina. Marries an unknown (to me) woman and has at least three children that I know of. He second marries Nancy Wallen Weddel (born 1773 and widow of Elias Weddel). She and Elias had 11 children. William and Nancy have one child together, my ancestor, Elijah Curry born 1816 in TN. Elijah Curry marries Mary Richards (daughter of Michael Richards and Charity Hubbard). I have in my database a Charity Curry and a Mary Curry who both marry Weddles in TN. Are they sisters? Are they related to my William Curry or to the other Elijah Curry who also shows up in Jackson County in the 1830 census? I have compiled quite abit of second-hand information on these families.
