Hello from Virginia... .My Great Grandmother, who died in 1942, was named Maggie Leslie. Her second husband was named James Allen and she married him after being widowed in 1893. Her 1st husband was George Cornelius Swift of Seymour, Indiana - Jackson County. She had 2 children by George ( one was my grandmother) James Allen was a widower - with children - when he and Maggie married. I think he worked for an insurance company and they moved to Vincennes, Indiana. In the early 1900 s he was transferred to Norfolk, V a. He and Maggie had one child, a son named James Funston Allen.
