Hello. I introduced myself a few days ago and now I am following up. The family I am looking for are the Allen's. They originated in Washington Co., IN then migrated to Jackson Co., IN. James T. (Tadlock) Allen born 18 Feb 1814 in Washington Co., IN married a Mary "Polly" Goen on 20 Dec 1832. From this marriage there were several children: Leonard D. Allen b. 11 Dec 1835, d. 6 May 1850, Sarah J. Allen b. 26 Dec 1837, d. 12 Jan 1858, Charity Allen b. 7 Apr 1840, Wm. Allen b. 23 Apr 1842 in Jackson Co. d. 3 Aug 1843, William J.(Jackson) Allen b. 5 Jul 1844 Jackson Co., In married Hanah Amanda McKinney 27 Feb 1868, d. 1 Mar 1899, Arena K. Allen b. 26 Jan 1847 Jackson Co., IN maried Henry H. Banks 10 Apr 1865, Steven P. Allen b. 13 Feb 1849 Jackson Co., IN, Rhoda Ann Allen b. 29 Mar 1851 Jackson Co., IN, married Lafayette Dix 4 Sep 1880, d. 10 Aug 1904, George W. Allen b. 21 Mar 1853, d. 23 Mar 1853, Cornelius Allen b. 6 Nov 1855 Jackson Co., IN, d. 8 Nov 1855. James T. Allen then married a Lucinda Russell on 28 Jul 1859. They moved to Sullivan Co., IN and had the following children: Albert Allen, b. 1870 d. 13 Mar 1873, John R. Allen b. 1862, m. 7 Mov 1892, R. D. Allen b. 1866, m. 20 Mar 1892.
