She is listed in the 1850 census of Jackson Co., IN-Grassy Fork Twp pg 227 as being 38 years old, b in IN no occupation listed. Also there is a 7 year old dau? Josephine b IN. The Blair's listed are: Jonathan, Farmer, age 24; James age 7; Serilda age 20; John, Farmer, age 27; Delilah age 9; James age 12; Joseph, Farmer, age 20; Delilah age 52 bKY; James, farmer, age 53 b KY; Avis age 59; and Joshua age 4. This information comes from an index and does not say if they are all in the same household. I would like to find info on the above Mahala so we can find out if she is the same Mahala as in the following census, and/or if she is the mother of my gg-grandmother Mahala Jane Cook b 1840 IN who married Thomas Woodford Davis in 1860 in Taney Co., MO.
