    3. Growing up in Huntington, I never knew of any Quaker Churches in the county, the closest one I ever knew of was in southern Grant County. The area I live in now has a lot of Friends Meetings and I go to one myself. I know that for many early years there were meetings in Huntington Co. I have a little information on them and I also have some other connections for those who wish to do some digging that way. Genealogy, using Friends records is quite interesting as they have always been know to record everything as weddings, births and deaths within it's meeting. So there are lots of things to gleen from. Huntington would of been a part of IYM (Indiana Yearly Meeting), It is still a very active yearly meeting. You can check out that at www.iym.org. There are also Quaker Encylopedias for several states that have been done for researchers. There are two full sets here in Randolph County that I know of. The ones for IN were done by Willard C. Heiss, who was a birthright Friend at the meeting I attend. Using that, you can find what meetings your ancestors might of attended and using that, then you can get more info from Tom Hamm, tomh@earlham.edu. He works at the Lilly Library at Earlham and is the Yearly Meetings Custodian of Records. His phone # at the library is 765-983-1511. I also have a book that I borrowed from my meeting that has Huntington stuff in it and later this coming week I will post the info on them to the Huntington List.
