Another posting was about LINCOLNVILLE Friends Meeting. I did not find any info on the church as of yet but, I did find the village on streets and trips on Huntington county road 500s which is the same road # in Wasbash County, Lincolnville is about 1/2 mile west of the Huntington County Line. RUSH CREEK Monthly Meeting and it was noted that it was a Hicksite, which was a separation of Friends just like Methodist and Wesleyan's had separated due to a dispute over something, which I am not really knowledgable on, but can ask a friend who is a Friend questions like that if anyone needs to ask any. Rush Creek on the http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnis/MapServer?f_name=Rush+Creek&f_state=IN&f_latlong=404639N0853854W&f_ht=.041325&server=TIGER shows Rush Creek, the Creek itself and and community that is now a part of the Salamonie Res. You should be able to see it on this link. It is right on the county line, about where 350s would be if it ran through that far. I am not sure if the Lillie Library in Richmond has things on Hicksites but more than likely there would be. Niether of the above meetings are in the book I borrowed but in the book are.... Antioch which Is question on being in Huntington Co and no note on when it was laid down. Pleasant Plain which was noted to of been laid down 1904. So does anyone know any more about any of these meetings? Or about any others that might of been in Huntington County? I will do some digging in the next few weeks down in Richmond to see what answers I can find about it.
