Lewis, was vorn in Warren, Ind., September 9, 1858; died \, November 16, 1888; aged, 30 years, 2 months and 7 days. He was married to Miss Linnie S. Poling, April 30, 1887. He conversed freely with his companion in reference to his future welfare, saying, "may time is short; I feel like singing and praying all the time; all is well. He leaves a companion, a babe and numerous friends here, while he joins the General Church of Christ in Heaven. Funeral services in the M.E. church, Sunday, the 18th, conducted by Revs. Swaim and Wilborn. Interment in the Mitchel cemetery.
