She married John Gregg Best on March 28, 1866. They had two daughters, Gussie Belle Best, b. Dec 28, 1866, married Charles A. Yotter, died Ap 15, 1800, and Lucinda J., b. Oct 24, 1868, married Everett C. Branyan. Their mother, Lucinda Brookover Best, died in Oct. 1868, apparently in childbirth.
