Saylor on March 6, 1888 in Jasper County, Indiana. She was born March 28, 1868 in North Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana, and died February 19, 1937 in Lawrenceville, Dearborn County, Indiana. I know of only two children born to Bonnie: Carl and Marvin. Bonnie's parents were James Marvin Hogsshire (changed as some point to Hodshire) and Mary Jane Fable. James Marvin Hogshire was born March 23, 1834 in Moores Hill, Dearborn County, Indiana to James S. and Asenath (Hawley) Hogshire. In the civil war, he enlisted as a sargeant in Company C of the 37th Indiana Infantry on September 18, 1861 in Lawrenceville, Dearborn County, Indiana, and was discharged on October 27, 1864 in Indianpolis, Marion County, Indiana. In his military discharge papers he was described as having been 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a light complexion, hazel eyes and dark hair. James Marvin Hogshire died August 21, 1899 in Rensselaer, Jasper County, Indiana. He was a brickmason by occupation. Mary Jane Fable was born January 11, 1842 in North Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana to Johann Philip Fable (a German emigrant whose surname may have originally been spelled "Foebel") and Lucy Ann Payne. Mary Jane Fable died May 9, 1886 in Wolcott, White County, Indiana. James Marvin Hogshire and Mary Jane Fable were married July 4, 1859 in North Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana, and were the parents of 13 children: John Charles, Laura Idella, Annie Allenia, Bonnie Jean, Flora Ella, Frank Leslie, Mary Lee (known as "Mamie"), Elmer (died at two months of age), Maggie May, D.D. Maude, Robert Ray, Henry Hawley, and Edwin Paul. James S. Hogshire was born circa 1795 in Worcestor County, Maryland to William and Martha (Morris?) Hogshire. With his widowed mother and siblings, he migrated to Dearborn County, Indiana in 1818. There, in 1822, he married Asenath Hawley, but they were divorced on April 27, 1837 in Dearborn County, Indiana. He died circa 1861 in Moores Hill, Dearborn County, Indiana. Asenath Hawley was born in 1804 in New York, the only child of William Hawley and Mercy Sprague. After divorcing James S. Hogshire, she married Robert W. Todd on November 30, 1862 in Jennings County, Indiana. She died in 1884, presumably in Jennings County, Indiana. James S. Hogshire and Asenatrh Hawley were the parents of five children: Caroline Jane, Charles M., John H., James Marvin, and Victor Dell.
