Ford, aged 32 years, 6 months and 26 days. The deceased was born in Galway, Galway county, Ireland, January 1, 1863. He removed from there to New York with his parents, and from there to Dayton, Ohio, where he resided until eleven years of age. He afterwards removed with them to their home in Indiana. Was united in marriage to Maggie Johnston, Nov. 12, 1887. To this union was born one daughter, little Blanche, who with his wife are left to mourn his departure. Also a mother, one sister and four brothers and a host of friends. His last illness--consumption of the bowels--was of long duration, continuing one year and six months, all of which was borne with patience and fortitude. He had often expressed his willingness to go when the Master called, and was ever trusting in the Saviour to whom he had long ago given up all to the one who doeth all things well. He realized that the time had come for his departure and called wife and little daughter and friends to his bedside bidding them each an affecting farewell until they should all be reunited in the heavenly home. The funeral services were held at St. Joseph's church, Hartford City, Indiana, interment in the Jones cemetery. Mrs. Laura Stuble.
