Sallie Irwin was born August 1, 1814, and was married to Samuel Little, August 25th, 1836. She died January 27th. She was converted and united with the Disciple church when quite young, and some years after that identified herself with the Christian church. She lived a quiet christian life, and was respected and loved by all who knew her for her noble christian character. She loved and trusted in Christ, and found him an unfailing friend through all the battles of life. She bid farewell to this world with the full assurance of a home in heaven. Funeral services were held at the Christian church yesterday at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. James Maple and interment was in the Masonic cemetery.
