Perry E. Spangler died of typhoid fever at his home in Marion, Ind., Monday afternoon, Oct. 28, 1895, aged thirty-five years. Mr. Spangler was raised near Brown's Corners, in Huntington county. He was well educated and fitted to engage in business, and for a number of years was employed in the county auditor's and treasurer's offices in Huntington. Last spring he removed to Marion where he became associated with Mr. Hinshaw in the real estate and loan business. He was a very clever, whole-souled gentleman and highly esteemed by all who knew him. A wife and three children are left to mourn their loss. The body was brought to Warren, Wednesday, on the eleven o'clock train and taken to the White church where funeral services, conducted by Rev. Page, took place.
