Thompson was born February 16, 1862; Died March 1, 1902, aged 40 years and 15 days. On October 20, 1880, she was united in marriage with William McCallister. She was the mother of five children--three sons and two daughters--who mourn her departure. Her father, mother, three brothers and three sisters preceded her to the spirit world. When 15 years of age she united with the Buckeye Disciple church. She was not unprepared for the great change, but often during her illness spoke of hope in Christ. She trusted also the God would be a father to her children and shield them from all harm. Funeral at the Church Monday, at 10 o'clock, services being conducted by J.E. Etter, the pastor, assisted by Rev. J.B. Alleman and Rev. Watts. Interment at the Spark's cemetery, near Markle.
