Nifer is in receipt of word of the death of her uncle, Jacob Keller, which occurred a few days ago at Boies City, Idaho. The deceased left here in 1853 for California, and from there he went to Centerville, Idaho, where he has resided ever since. He was a miner and at the time of his death was the owner of a placer gold mine covering thirty five acres of ground. He was a brother of Mrs. Yearger, who was buried here the Sunday before Christmas.
