Roush, was born in Delaware county, Indiana, August 24, 1870, and died January 9, 1890, aged 19 years, 4 months and 15 days. She moved with her parents to Wells county, Indiana, in 1871; thence to Kansas in 1879; thence back to Jackson township, Wells county, Indiana, in 1889. She was married to Cary O. Roush October 16, 1889. Their home was at Marion, Ind. She came back to Jackson township to spen hollidays with friends and relatives, and was taken with hasty consumption, which proved fatal in thirty days. Her last affliction was borne with meekness and patience. Short services were conducted at the house of her parents, after which she was laid to rest in the Batson cemetery, at her request.
