Williams, of Grant county, was thrown from a horse last Saturday evening sustaining injuries that resulted in his death early Sunday morning. He and a neighbor boy had gone to the country on horseback, and while returning to their home near Marion concluded to test the running qualities of their steeds. In the race that followed, the horse rode by Williams stumbled and fell, and while no bones were broken, the lad was rendered unconscious and remained so until death came.
