    1. Re: David D. Sult
    2. A lot of the information in this history is wrong. I checked the census records and the childerns names are different like Homer is really Harold, and Frank is really Fredrick. I also checked SSI records and they agree. So the history is right until you get to the childern.

    1. Re: Daniel Fisher
    2. Just found this site looking for Daniel Fisher's parents. I agree with your info but have had many who say the line comes from England. Do you have source info on your infomation? My grandfather, Lionel E. Fisher, told me there were two brothers who could not get along so they decided to each go his own way and one dropped the "c" from Fischer and the other kept it. Have you heard this before? If we could find the sibblings of this Daniel we may have the answer to the puzzle. Do your records show Daniel's parents and where he was born? Florence

    1. Re: Nancy B. Tharp
    2. Sheryl, Well have no fear, I have another collateral Tharp line that did come from what is now WV but was VA at that time. so maybe we can connect that way. My Tharp/Ruse Kelly family seemed to congregate in the multi-county area of Grant, Huntington, Blackford & Wells. Then over towards Adams/Jay Cos.,IN & Van Wert/Mercer/Darke Cos., OH. Makes looking in the census a real pain. Cindy
