Scher, published in 1970. The Allen Co. Public Library has a copy too, I think. Many older family members of the Schers, Karsts and Eckerts bought a copy of the book too. If you don't live close to Huntington, e-mail me. I have a copy "on loan" from another family member for a few more weeks.

hello again everyone!! i am now working on trying to find my gr,gr,gr,grandmother CATHARINE (KATIE possibly) VOLLMER VOLLMER (maiden name the same) born about 1838 possibly in Germany or Ohio she was married to Adam Vollmer in 1856 but in the 1880 census it has him listed as divorced. and she died in 1894. so i figured (uhoh!) that even if she did remarry her maiden name was still Vollmer. i know they had 11 children but 2 stayed with Adam. Caroline and Mary. so its possible she lived with a child. any hints or anything would be greatly appreciated. i cannot thank all of you who have helped me before enough!!!!! i could never got this far without you. and i'll say it again this site has by far the nicest people of all the others i belong to!!!!!!! thank you again and take care kathy from PA Researching; DOUGHERTY, MACDONALD, BAER, BRENNAN, MCLAUGHLIN, GORDON, SHEPHARD, RENZ, VOLLMER (FULLMER), SCHUMACHER (SHOEMAKER), PASZOTTA, SHUTT Places; Ireland, Germany, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Delaware
