    1. [INHUNT] Fishing expedition on Millican whereabouts
    2. Bonnie Millican
    3. My spouse's family came from all over and never stayed put in one spot for very long. This is what I know about them. First of all, I have not found them on any census. Nobody but nobody spells Millican the same way. The only clues I have are that Katherine (Shook) Millican, wife of Joseph Millican, died at Andrews, Huntington Co, IN. I don't even have a year, just found that on some document. Their children were Sherman Millican, b June 3, 1889, supposedly in Waterloo, Douglas Co, NE, Jesse Millican, William Millican, Elmer Millican, Althea Millican, and Glen Millican. I have no birthdates for the siblings. Now Sherman Millican married Lena Hogue, who was born in Paulding Co, OH. I don't know where they married but their first child Robert b Sept 24, 1914 was born in IN (all I know). Their fourth child Eleanor b Aug 16, 1919, also was born in IN. Dorothy, their second child, b Apr 10, 1916 was supposedly born in Waterloo, Douglas Co, NE. Bruce, their third child, b Oct 26, 1917 I have no place of birth for. Now something is probably not right here. I don't believe they traveled to NE and back to IN during this time period. The rest of their 9 children were born in Summit Co, OH. Question, are there any published online birth records for 1914 through 1919 for Huntingdon Co? I would like to verify their birth locations without spending a fortune on birth certificates through the state. In Ohio, I could verify the dates for a dime each, but feel very fortunate to live in a state that has such reasonable rates. I would love to be able to find Katherine Millican's time of death also. Any help sorely appreciated. Bonnie from OH

I have seen many photographs that he took - he must have had quite a successful business for many years. The Huntington Library has many old city and county directories that would probably help - they answer mail enquiries without charge. Andrew

Going east it was just past the Grain Company but before the next cross street (I forget the name of the street, it crosses the river). There are homes built over the place that use to be a cemetery. Does anyone have any information of this? Where did they move them and is there a listing of those that were buried there? Any help would be appreciated.
