I am stumped on how to solve this problem. On my Ancestry.com there is page 16 of 24 missing on the Rockcreek Township 1900 census. Page 229B of sheet 8. Hello list... In 1880 Jacob Daniel KREIGHBAUM and his wife "Dessy"/Hadassah (LASH) lived in or near Warren, Huntington Co. IN. J. D. Kreighbaum died in 1884. Did his wife stay on and possibly marry again in Huntington Co.? One of his daughters, Ina R. KREIGHBAUM married John HEIT, 21 Oct 1880. Another daughter Lora E. was 15 yrs old at the time of the 1880 census. Any follow up on this family would be very much appreciated. The Blackford Wells Genealogy Society will be publishing the first volume of the First Family/Pioneer Family Book of the two counties (title not determined yet). To keep the cost as reasonable as possible we have decided to make it a soft cover book with approximately 300 pages. The exact number of pages have not been determined yet, but we feel with the number of families it should be close to 300 pages. WE would like to know about how many are interested in purchasing the book when finished. We can not give an exact price at this time.We will do our best to keep it at a minimum. If you think you will be interested please email [email protected] and we will put you on a priority list to receive information on the book as soon as we have the final numbers. There will be a limited number of books printed. A second edition will be printed at a future date for those who still wish to send for certificates and be counted as a First or Pioneer Family of the counties. There is no dead line for the second edition at this time.
